ICAI Introduces New CA Logo at GloPAC Conference

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), the world's foremost professional accountancy organization, introduces the inaugural Global Professional Accountants Convention (GloPAC) held from 24th to 26th November at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
At the event, the unveiling of the new CA India logo took place. The latest logo signifies the unwavering dedication of the accountancy profession to actively contribute as a partner in the nation-building endeavor. To provide more insight, each element of the new CA India logo conveys a narrative of our profession's devoted pursuit of excellence, transparency, and accountability.
The convention's theme, "Connecting the Globe, Creating Value," underscores our dedication to diversity and aims to showcase the significant role the accountancy profession plays in the economic and social development of the country. We are optimistic that the inaugural GloPAC will establish a tone for generating fresh ideas, innovations, and strategies to address global economic challenges, ultimately contributing to a sustainable economy for the future.
During his speech at the inaugural ceremony, the Hon’ble Vice-President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, recognized and commended ICAI for organizing this grand convention. He emphasized that Chartered Accountants hold a unique and vital position as pillars in the economic growth of the nation. Shri Dhankhar praised the Bharat-based CAs for their exceptionally high ethical standards, noting that the signature of a chartered accountant represents an unrivaled brand. He referred to them as the driving forces in the country's incremental growth trajectory.
The Guest of Honour, CA. Piyush Goyal, a union minister and professional accountant highlighted the imperative for Chartered Accountants to embrace adaptability in the face of a changing world. Acknowledging the profession's commitment to accountability and high standards, he emphasized the unique opportunity, as the world's largest accounting body, to shape the future of the profession. CA. Piyush Goyal urged the chartered accountancy profession to transcend traditional roles, advocating for a more inclusive reach across every corner of the country. He underscored the profession's potential to play a significant role in attracting global investment and technology.
