CA Inter Registration 2023 Eligibility
To be eligible for CA Inter registration 2023, a candidate must fulfil the following criteria:
- Cleared CA Foundation Exam: The candidate must have cleared the CA Foundation exam conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
- Completed four months of study: The candidate should have completed a minimum of four months of study period from the date of registration for the CA Inter course. This means that the candidate should register for the CA Inter course at least four months before the exam date.
- Completed 10+2 or equivalent examination: The candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
- Completed 8 months of articleship: The candidate should have completed at least 8 months of articleship training. However, this requirement can be fulfilled up to the last date of registration for the CA Intermediate exam.
- Registered with the Board of Studies (BoS): The candidate must have registered with the Board of Studies (BoS) of the ICAI.

The registration fee for CA Inter is Rs 18,000 for Indian students(both groups) and $1,000 for
overseas students.
The examination fees for the CA Inter course is separate from the registration fees and is
payable at the time of applying for the exam.
Documents required for CA Inter registration
To register for the CA Inter course, you need to submit the following documents:
- CA Foundation Mark Sheet: A copy of the mark sheet of the CA Foundation Exam or a copy of the CA Foundation Exam Admit Card.
- Age Proof: A copy of your 10th standard mark sheet or a copy of your birth certificate.
- Identity Proof: A copy of your Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, or driving license.
- Address Proof: A copy of your Aadhar card, passport, voter ID, or driving license.
- Photograph: A recent passport-sized photograph.
- Intermediate/IPCC Registration Letter: If you have registered for the Intermediate/IPCC course earlier, then you need to submit a copy of the registration letter.
- Articleship Completion Certificate: If you have completed articleship training, then you need to submit a copy of the articleship completion certificate.
- Declaration of Service: A declaration of service on the official letterhead of the employer, if you are a registered articled assistant or audit assistant.
- Category Certificate: A copy of the category certificate (if applicable), issued by the competent authority, in case of SC/ST, OBC, or differently-abled candidates.
- Demand Draft: A demand draft for the registration fee in favour of "The Secretary, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India" payable at the concerned regional office.

How to register for the ICAI CA Intermediate
You can register for the ICAI CA Inter course through the following steps:
- Step 1: Visit the ICAI website (https://www.icai.org/).
- Step 2: Click on the 'Students' tab on the homepage and select 'Course Registration Forms' from the drop-down menu.
- Step 3: Click on the 'Intermediate (IPC) Course' option.
