Students get their results through email as well as SMS. You need to register your mail ID
and mobile number to get the result on them.

To check the CA Intermediate exam result, you can follow the steps mentioned below:
Visit the official website of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) at icai.nic.in.
Select the “intermediate Examination: May 2023” option.
Enter your roll number, pin or registration number, and the captcha code.
Click on the "Check Results" button.
Your CA Intermediate exam result will be displayed on the screen.
Download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
Please note that the ICAI will also release a merit list of the top 50 students who have scored the highest marks in the CA Intermediate exam.

CA Intermediate Passing Criteria
The passing criteria for the CA Intermediate exam are as follows:
Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject.
Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects.
If a candidate fails to secure the minimum marks in any one subject, but has scored 60 or more marks in any one of the other subjects, the candidate will be deemed to have passed the examination.
If a candidate has appeared for both the groups of the CA Intermediate exam, he/she will be declared as "passed" only if he/she secures a minimum of 40% marks in each subject of both groups and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of both groups combined.
If a candidate has appeared for one group of the CA Intermediate exam, he/she will be declared as "passed" only if he/she secures a minimum of 40% marks in each subject of that group and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all the subjects of that group.
Candidates who meet the above criteria will be considered as "passed" in the CA Intermediate exam and will be eligible to register for the CA Final course.

What to do after CA Inter Result May’23?
After the declaration of CA Intermediate May 2023 results, candidates who have cleared the
exam will be eligible to register for the CA Final course.
The CA Final is the last level of the Chartered Accountancy course and comprises two
groups, each consisting of four papers. Candidates who have cleared both groups of the CA
Intermediate exam can register for the CA Final course.
Candidates who have cleared only one group of the CA Intermediate exam will need to clear
the remaining group before they can register for the CA Final course.
After registering for the CA Final course, candidates will have to undergo a minimum of three
years of practical training and complete various other requirements such as ITT and GMCS
before they can appear for the CA Final exam.
Once the candidate successfully clears both groups of the CA Final exam and completes all
other requirements, he/she will be eligible to apply for membership of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and become a qualified Chartered Accountant.
